DMV Name Change

Every name change will require an in person visit to the DMV (with one exception, but only in Pennsylvania).

At the DMV, you’ll be able to change your name on your driver’s license (or ID card), your registration and title, and in many cases, your voter registration.

Now while it is true that most anything can be done on the internet, changing your name on your driver’s license is not one of the things.  Getting your driver’s license name change cannot be done online.  It’s like jury duty in a way–America’s Great Equalizer.  Basically, no matter how wealthy you are, you just gotta go.
